Class Description:
Do you have certain aspects of your drawing skills that you wish were stronger? Maybe it’s learning to see values better, or maybe you’d like to be able to create textures more easily. Perhaps you want to build your speed or accuracy, sharpen your “seeing” skills, or work on proportions. Or maybe you don’t even have a specific thing, but you just know you have room to grow! In this class, you will get individualized instruction to help you assess your work and grow the particular skills you’re after!
Students should come armed with questions and a few current drawings to help show me what skills you want to improve. You will be given skill building exercises tailored to the areas you want to target. We will then apply these skills to a final drawing. If you would like to draw a particular scene or still life items for this drawing, please bring your own reference photos or small objects. I will have a small assortment of still life items and reference photos available as well.
Other Info:
- You may bring a sack lunch if you wish or purchase from a nearby restaurant.
- Assorted drawing materials will be available, but you may also choose to bring your own.
- I will not be able to offer refunds in the event you miss class.
