Drawing Trees (8/21)

Class Description:
This week we will work on drawing trees. We will go over the anatomy of trees, practice drawing different varieties, and explore different ways of mark making to achieve the varied textures of leaves, pine needles, and bark. Weather permitting, we will make our way to Miller Park to spend the last two hours of class sketching trees from life. (If the weather does not cooperate, we will work from reference photos.)
Other Info:
- You may bring a sack lunch if you wish or purchase from a nearby restaurant.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Assorted drawing materials will be available, but you may also choose to bring your own.
- I will not be able to offer refunds in the event you miss class.
