2nd Annual “Creating in Community” + First Friday “Rte. 66 Art Trail”

The 2nd Annual Student Exhibition, Creating in Community, will open at Mandy Roeing Fine Art Studio and Gallery in tandem with Downtown Bloomington’s July First Friday. Students included in this show have studied drawing and/or pastel painting at the studio, and will share a variety of subject matter. While most of the work is in Roeing’s focal medium of soft pastel, the exhibition also includes works in gouache, oil pastel, watercolor, colored pencil, and pen & ink.
The opening reception on July 5 from 5:00 – 8: 00 pm will be a great opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their work. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibition will run through July 27, and additional open hours for the month of July can be found on the website calendar.
