I have painted numerous commissioned pieces of both landscapes and pet portraits. If you don’t see quite what you’re looking for in my available works or if there is something specific you have in mind, please contact me to discuss it! You can reach me at mroeing@gmail.com.

I love to help my patrons surprise their loved ones with a painting for a special occasion, so please let me know if you have a specific date in mind! The time it takes to complete a commissioned painting varies depending on the length of my waitlist and my teaching obligations.

I am also happy to offer the option to frame your piece so it will be ready to hang on the wall when you receive it. If you choose to add this service, I will use Museum Glass and spacers to afford it the best possible protection. An initial investment of 50% is accepted at the time of commissioning a piece, with the remaining value accepted upon completion, along with any framing options and/or shipping services you choose to add.

Landscapes can vary widely in complexity, so I provide quotes on a case by case basis. For information on pet portraits, please see below!

Pet Portraits

Our pets are special to us and lift our spirits through their companionship. Imagine capturing that bond with an original work of art to cherish forever! A portrait is a wonderful way to commemorate the beautiful friendship between you and your pet. They also make very personal and touching gifts for family or friends.

I create my original pastel portraits using multiple photographs as reference material. When possible, I like to meet local clients to take pictures of their pet and to see them in action.* However, if this is not possible, I can work from your own quality photographs.

I will discuss different styles and sizes with you to help you decide on the perfect portrait. I am also happy to offer the option to frame your piece so it will be ready to hang on the wall when you receive it. An initial investment of 50% is accepted at the time of commissioning a piece, with the remaining value accepted upon completion, along with any framing options and/or shipping services you choose to add.
