My art classes are geared towards adults and serious young artists ages 12 and up. Specifics on experience level are listed in each class description.

My studio gallery is located in downtown Bloomington, IL at 105-A W. Monroe St, and parking is available on the surrounding streets and nearby public parking lots and structures.

***Must have taken Introduction to Pastel Painting Workshop or have experience with pastels***
Mini-Painting Ornament Workshop
Class Description
Imagine creating something that you will get to enjoy again and again as you decorate your tree each year for the holiday season! Or imagine making someone a unique gift that they will get to unwrap every Christmas! In this workshop, you will make just that by creating a mini-painting ornament. We will finish them under museum glass in silver ornament frames. The class fee includes one ornament, paper, glass, and acid free backer. Students may choose to purchase additional ornament frame sets for $12 each. While there will be some photo references available, please consider bringing your own reference photos for the painting(s). The finished pieces will be a square format and measure 3” x 3.”

Materials List:
- Assorted soft pastels with a nice range of values — you may bring your own or add the Materials Fee for Pastels when you register.
- Please bring your own backing board large enough to hold your painting surface. A drawing board or piece of foam core will work.
- Please bring your own reference photos for your painting. If you do not have any references, I will have a limited amount to choose from.
Other Info to Know:
- Feel free to bring snacks and drinks and take break times as needed.
- I will not be able to offer refunds in the event you miss class, but you will still receive your ornament frame set.
